THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC ZAMBIA

The Republic of Zambia has maintained diplomatic presence in Germany since the early sixties when the first Zambian Embassy was opened in Bonn. In 2002, the Mission moved to Berlin following the relocation of the German seat of Government from Bonn to Berlin after the German Reunification.

The Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in Berlin is located in the middle of the city (Stadt-mitte) and occupies offices on the 5th floor, of a 6-storey building at Axel-Springer Str. 54a, 10117 Berlin.

The Embassy is currently headed by Mr Anthony Mukwita along with Eleven other diplomats and several locally engaged staff.

In order to effectively carry out the Government’s policy of Economic Diplomacy to wider part of the EU, the Mission is also accredited to 6 other countries on a non-resident basis.

The Embassy opens  on Mondays to Thursdays  09:00 hrs. to 13:00 hrs

14:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs

and  Fridays                    09:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs

The Embassy is closed on both German and Zambian National Holidays.
