THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC ZAMBIA
The Republic of Zambia has maintained diplomatic presence in Germany since the early sixties when the first Zambian Embassy was opened in Bonn. In 2002, the Mission moved to Berlin following the relocation of the German seat of Government from Bonn to Berlin after the German Reunification.
The Embassy of the Republic of Zambia in Berlin is located in the middle of the city (Stadt-mitte) and occupies offices on the 5th floor, of a 6-storey building at Axel-Springer Str. 54a, 10117 Berlin.

The Embassy is currently headed by Ambassador His Excellency Mr. Bwalya S.K. Chiti, six Diplomatic ( here we could put the names of the diplomats) and 14 locally engaged members of staff. 

In order to effectively carry out the Government's policy of Economic Diplomay to wider part of the EU, the Mission is also accredited to 10 other countries on a non-resident basis ( here we could put a link to the Countries of extra-Accreditation oder?)

 

The Embassy opens  on Mondays to Thursday from  09.00 hrs. to 13.00 hrs

                                                                                 14.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs

                                                          Fridays            09-00 hrs to 13-00 hrs

The Embassy is closed on both German and Zambian  National holidays.

Countries of Extra-accrediation:

 

In order to reach and cultivate diplomatic relations with a larger part of the EU, the Mission in Germany is also accredited to 10 other European countries on a non-residence basis namely:- Republic of Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Croatia, Czech Republic, Republic of Hungary, Republic of Macedonia, Republic of Slovakia, Republic of Slovenia, Republic of Poland and the Republic of Turkey.

 

Honorary Consuls:

 

To augment the efforts of the Mission is carrying out the Government’s policy of Diplomatic Diplomacy, the Mission has appointed four honorary Consuls, two based in the Federal Republic of Germany, one in the Republic of Austria and one in the Republic of Turkey.
